Fistalis,Will release v3? I'll update this mod along with 0.85 of the modern world. Since it uses the modern world for some of its base data files most of the work i do to the modern world effects it. (I may just roll it in with the modern world mod as an alternate scenario)

Still haven't updated this mod. I need to refamiliarize myself with it then decide whether or not to roll it into the modern world as an alternate scenario.
It's worth noting that the original intention of this mod was to see the performance differences caused by number of nations and to see how the game would perform if i designed a scenario that avoided the major causes of slowdown. Its immense since IIRC it uses all the same OOB files etc as teh modern world thats to say the troop count is the same.. the number of countries/treaties etc is extremely reduced.
I think I clock like 5-7 second days at the start of this one compared with the modern worlds 15-17 second days at start. (granted my PC isn't exactly top of the line so newer faster rigs are likely to see much better speed)
Which shows that while troop count has an effect on speed.. the number of nations is a huge factor as well. State of the unions has 39 nations in comparison to the Modern worlds 198
