I just started a game in the Cold War sandbox as Portugal. My goal is to preserve the Portuguese empire and unify it into a centralized world state. I am going to let my colonies lie for now but once they proclaim independence I am going to attack and annex them all. Until then I am focusing on building up my military. My first project is reconquering Brazil and it is proving to be a slow and difficult process. with Juan Peron as my ally I have slowly but surely worked my way up through southern Brazil. I control a small portion of the southern coastline and I have also invaded northern Brazil through French Guiana. I currently control one port in the north and one in the south. After this I will invade Uruguay and then Ceylon to use as a base for the defense of Goa. Once these things are accomplished I will begin my massive buildup to defend Portuguese Goa from the Indians when they invade in 1961. Goa will not fall at any cost! Anyway does anyone have any advice on what else I should do? I am slowly starting to develop my oil resources in Angola but beyond that I dunno what to do.
