First of all thank you for your great mods. Im not sure if there was a specific thread this should be put into but now it has its own one.
Its time to add Hezbollah to the game after all in 2006 they not only repulsed a full assault by an Israeli tank division but they soaked up every single conventional missile and bomb in Israeli arsenal while only taking around 50 losses to airstrikes (+~150 to ground fire) and ceading no more than 5km of land throughout the conflict which happened to be the first defensive line.
Hezbollah also nearly sunk the Israeli SAAR5 frigate with a land launched silkworm derived missile manufactured in Iran and likely fired by revolutionary guard units on station in Lebanon (who have increased in presence since this time). The missile hit the ship causing devestating damage however the missile struck the direct stern of the ship destroying the rear section of the ship and the helicopter pad. It is likely that if the missile struck amidships it would have immediately sunk.
The reason Israeli airstrikes failed was because they were all precision strikes on predesignated targets. Hezbollah was so effective in selling decoys that virtually every single airstrike hit decoy targets accounting for the low effectiveness rating.It is a fact Hezbollah has electronically hacked every single Israeli spy UAV over Lebanon since the mid 1990's which allows them to more efficiently sell decoys and on one occasion annihilate an Israeli special forces team when its UAV looked at the team Hezbollah immediately say it and dispatched an ambush team which wiped them out.

The majority of Israeli KIA were caused by AT-14 Kornet type missile. Proving itself capable of destroying Merkava tanks which is legitimately one of the toughest in the world.
Hezbollah employed a myriad of heavy fortification systems deep in the ground with complete ventilation systems power generation and accommodation. Virtually none of these sites were destroyed by airstrikes although Israelis ground forces did manage to get into some before they pulled out which the only the they found out there existence. The collective Israeli spy and reconnaissance apparatus were absolutely dumbstruck by every single aspect of the conflict ranging from the failure of airstrikes to the near loss of their surface ships and huge underground bunker complexes constructed in secret. As a matter of fact after the war Hezbollah arrested around 300 Israeli agents (Lebanese people giving Israel info) who they had been tracking all along and systematically selling disinformation laced with truth. These spies were then given a fair trial and most received a prison sentence Hezbollah brags of such civility pointing out that many other 'terrorist groups' would not act so transparently in accordance to the law.
Those facts being interesting not strictly relevant to the game...
Some Hezbollah live in Syria and have fought in the war (these are Syrian citizens) however Nasrallah stated that Hezbollah has not intervened in the conflict yet however is 100% committed to intervening if it becomes necessary specifically in the event of Turkish invasion.
In summary Hezbollah surely must be created to give our Israel playing friends a more realistic and tougher challenge :)
Hezbollah should be created equipped with the following weapon systems:
-Special forces teams
-AT-14 Kornet ATGM
-OSA mobile sam or other limited light sam
-Igla and similar manpad
-GRAD MLRS
-Scud mounted anti ship missile
-Scud mounted medium range ballistic missile system
Note: Hezbollah claims the ability to strike every inch of Israel with their inventory of accurate balistic missile systems, Nasrallah has declared the ability to knock out Tel Aviv's electrical power along with military targets he specifically promised to strike Ashdod with precision balistic missile strikes. It is likely that a combined ballistic missile salvo from Hezbollah, Syria, Iran and Hamas (who have fired only 3 accurate missile types to show Israel they had em, they have atleast 100 such types which are to be simultaneously fired) would devestate the Israeli electrical, logistical and military force capabilities.
-And finally fortifications of heavy duty caliber.
Maybe you should just add these myriad weapons system to the Lebanon government (run by a Hezbollah backed political coalition) and give Lebanon and alliance with Syria and Iran then maybe get Israel to DOW Lebanon/Syria. I'm not sure if we can get the AI to launch a decisive ballistic missile strike but make no mistake the Lebanese southern defensive line is one of the toughest in the world build to withstand months of bombardment without running out of ammo or needing resupply and directly repulse the full assault of armored divisions. It would be nice if we could give Iran a nice red button like in the campaign but maybe we cant have everything.
Meanwhile on another continent...
France invaded the Ivory Coast in 2011 and now they have invaded Mali (which shared a land border with above). Expect the Frankish devil to invade one African country after another. They have eyes on Algeria who come packing SU-30 T-90 and Kilo submarine (I believe Algeria currently has an approximately correct OOB in game). By the way the current hostage crisis in Alergia was carried out on the orders of the British and French as they now look to move from Mali and Libya into Algeria over both the southern and Eastern borders. Add in an Algerian insurgency and you can be Modern world mod, history before it happens :D
NATO has also initiated a new Congo war by invading Congo from Uganda using mercenaries. The Kony 2012 facade was done to provide a pretext to arm Ugana with weapons to invade Congo with.
These are a couple things you might want to throw in if you have time. I but a bunch more suggestions of similar ilk if you want them.
