hi guys,
I'm playing as China and after 30th December 2013 I realized that North Korea automatically signed a full transit treaty with me, I stayed at the diplomatic window and after 30th December the treaty just automatically appeared on the existing treaties list. But I did not sign the treaty myself! Is there a way to stop it? I don't want foreign troops in my territory.
I then broke all treaties with n.korea and most of their troops left, but some still remain, why is this?
Also, after a short while Pakistan requested full transit treaty (not automatic) but their troops are in my region already...
Please help

Please help Sounds like you turned on auto accept offers, check in the diplomacy menu its the middle button (this setting can be set per nation iirc). The other possibility is an error in my event scripts.. I'm running a quick test game as china now to see if thats the issue. As for pakistan, China starts will a full transit treaty with pakistan. Edit: Ok ya I need to fix the event script for NK/china. As to pakistan as I said. you start the game with a full transit treaty.

As for Pakistan, yeah it starts with full transit, but it's weird though coz sometime during the game they send an offer to have full transit...which makes me think the two countries didn't start off with the treaty. But if I don't want these events to go ahead...I don't want any foreign troops in my region, how do I do that? It seems that I can't cancel a treaty...which sucks coz then does that mean if I make a treaty, I will NEVER be able to cancel it? btw, what's the difference between sandbox mode and scenario mode? it seems to me they're pretty much the same..

The inability to cancel specific treaties is something you'll have to take up with BG. (I have looked into modding this but as far as I can tell the cancellation of treaties is purely hardcoded) again the NK event isn't working as intended and will be fixed in the next update. (automatic treaties should only kick in if neither nation is the player) While I'm at it I'll double check other events as well. (if anyone notices any other of these events forcing a player to take a treaty etc then point out the specific treaty and nations) However starting treaties will continue to reflect the current modern real world as best I can. Scenario VS sandbox = nothing its just in 2 places because some people look in different places for the scenario. Its also in multiplayer to allow multiplayer play.

can you show me how you coded the events? I want to modify the game a bit myself, but I won't reproduce the mod.
It's ridiculous coz they should have an editor so people can modify the game easier
