Is it WAD that CALIFORNIA is the leader of the Warsaw pact in this mod? I would think it would be a fair bit more appropriate for IDK maybe Iran or a similar country to be the leader in the Shattered World scenario. I must admit I don't completely remember all of the backstory is to the Shattered World scenario either so I'm not complaining too loud either... that being said its intel screen starts with the info that the USSR normally gets in the start of the '49 campaign.

Ya spheres are funky in Shattered world. The intel messages can probably be fixed. The sphere leanings are there only to provide the potential for alliances. You'll notice most other red members are other states that would have most likely allied with California in that scenario in sr2020.(heavily leaning manifest destiny states according to the scenario)
Red sphere are simply manifest destiny states. So it was a toss up between California, Texas and Illinois for Sphere leader. California has the most tech advances so I chose them.
I didn't want to make the scenario seem too U.S. Centric so I chose England for the Blue sphere leader. None of that matters much though since the majority of regions are neutral.
I could bore you all day with technical reasons I did this but in order to get the mod to function even remotely similar to the original I needed sphere leaders other than moscow and washington.

That makes more sense to me now. I'm sorry for all the questions but I'm really enjoying your mods and want to do my little bit (I do not mod SR very well as opposed to say some of the Paradox games) to find things that may or may not be bugs/misdone and report back. Thanks for the quick reply and the great work on the mods.

I appreciate the feedback. Believe it or not I started a forum to get it. ;D

Hi, I gave this a try, but the spy missions do not seem to work?

Spies are currently bugged in the default game as well its tied to the fact that if you turn your minister off they don't follow orders.. and some other issues. Hopefully update 3 will fix that.. but it has nothing to do with the mod.. You can find the thread on the BG forums about the spy issues.

So, quick question, is there a way, to make the 2020 unit file compatible with Cold War for this mod? I was thinking, make an entry in the scenario file (rename the 2020 unit file and point to that, redo the cache), and then I would only have the 2020 Units, versus the earlier ones.

SRCW contains all the SR2020 units + earlier ones.. so i'm not sure why you would bother.

I guess, just because it shows units from 1950 onwards, and it seems wierd for them to show up under researching units? I know there are some older units, but it seems wierd to have the prop planes etc.

Hello,
Will there be any updates to the SW Mod for CW 7.3.8? Is their changes to the same zone and conflict going to be a good fix for the mod?

Hello, Will there be any updates to the SW Mod for CW 7.3.8? Is their changes to the same zone and conflict going to be a good fix for the mod? It could use a recache with the newest SRCW files. Not sure what you mean by the second line.. maybe a language barrier or a brain fart on my part.

Sorry, that second line didn't even make sense to me. For countries in the same sphere, ie Blue, Red or Neutral, will this help solve the peacefulness of the AI? IE will it increase conflicts between Neutral and Neutral Countries in the Shattered World Mod?
