I am commencing to realise ever more, whilst emphasise these are necessary, relevant (geo-politically speaking) factions that should be truly added. 1. Houthis (Shia résistance), the anti-Qaeda/anti-government Sunni résistance forces, in addition to Marxist factions, all grouped as one single People's Democratic Republic of South Yemen (they form an army of well over 200 000 forces total; whilst are a glorious threat to the neo-colonialist NATO led imperialists) 2. Kurdistan (All Kurdish forces combined make a total of over 150 000 soldiers; thus this too is indeed relevant.) 3. Hezbollah (Exquisitely important, is composed of over 65 000 elite soldiers with a wide variety of weapons that not even the centralised pro-NATO puppet Sleiman régime could conceive of) 4. Frente Polisario (has 20 000 to 40 000 soldiers, is a résistance aligned organisation fighting the NATO led imperialists) 5. The Communist armies in Naxalite etcetera areas in India (they are over 100 000 strong themselves whilst are geo-politically relevant, especially since they back Comrade Bashar Al-Assad's résistance) 6. The Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Résistance (lead by Comrades Khamis, Saadi, Saif al-Islam as well as Ayesha Qadhafi, whether in person or over long distance, the Brigades 32 moreover also 93, the Qaddaf Al-Dam liberation forces (which also including Yugoslav minded Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, Albanians, Kosovans, Montenegrans, Herezgovinans, amongst others whom regret having allowed NATO to neo-colonise/carpet bomb their nation moreover wish to stop Balkanisation elsewhere) (these forces of glorious revolutionary résistance against the imperialist NTC revtards number 20 000 - 30 000) 7. The armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the PFLP-GC as well as Islamic Jihad; under a smaller Palestine in the southernmost city of Gaza; with the PFLP flag. (They number 20 000+ soldiers total) 8. Amal, LCP, SSNP, Nasserists, Ba'athists in Lebanon: equally as important as Hezbollah; group them under Hezbollah too. 9. The Iraqi Résistance: includes Sunnis, Sufis, Shi'ites, Ba'athists, Nasserists, Communists amongst others across Iraqi fighting against al-Qaeda, fighting against al-Badr, as well as fighting against the neo-colonialist puppet sectarian régime of Maliki. This Résistance flies the former flag of Iraq under al-Ba'ath (not the simpler version of now). They have access to the surviving elements of the former arsenal of the Ba'athist era armed forces. They number in the tens of thousands. (P.S: One must hitherto come to realisation to recognise I indeed do my research Comrades. You may thank me later. ...)

The majority of these are political factions that while they may claim some military backing have no REAL control of land. As such there is no way to implement them in any meaningful way with the current SRCW engine.

The majority of these are political factions that while they may claim some military backing have no REAL control of land. As such there is no way to implement them in any meaningful way with the current SRCW engine. Actually they all do. Look at Frente Polisario as well as its Sahrawi People's Liberation Army. It nominally rules over Western Sahara in its entirety. Hezbollah is a state within Lebanon quintessentially, they as well as the other organisations of the Lebanese Résistance. The Yemeni factions are the ones whom technically control South-Easternmost Yemen, the Jamahiriya Résistance in Libya controls the Southernmost Libyan region, whilst Houthis are in the North-Westernmost region. Kurdistan, we know that technically it would work on the SRCW engine... As for the Indian Communists, even they are in fullest control of some Indian provinces as well as regions. They too are similar to Hezbollah, if not even larger in territorial control. You could technically name them as India (Communist) if you create the faction. Here is a Map of Communist controlled areas in India Whilst for the Palestine (PFLP-DFLP-IJ), their areas are mostly approximately the Rafah governorate in Gaza in addition to the Hebron, Bethlehem, as well as Jericho governorates in West Bank.

As you can see my research begs to differ. I'll thouroughly review each one but the only one i can say will be added is the SPLA since it was always my plan to create the border as shown in this picture of controlled areas of Western Sahara. For example kurdistan is NOT a united nation, While Iraqi kurdistan has some autonomy the rest of kurds are classic guerrillas in that they launch attacks and fade back into the population maintaining no REAL control of land. IDEALLY the engine would create guerillas to pop up based on loyalty of areas controlled by nations they are not loyalty. That however is not the case so the solution is to have them pop up once, or a limited number of times via scripting if they don't hold a constant control of land. And in the latter case you end up with the issue with the FSA presently, in that if you wipe them out too fast they become a "ghost" faction. Attachments:

It is true that the smaller strip of territory is Polisario's actual land control, however since the game has the whole of Western Sahara as the Polisario borders, its the sole way this could be done. (Whilst I am basing myself off of the SR2020 engine on that matter, where Western Sahara within the game was (mistakenly it seems) drawn to be wholly Polisario controlled)

So, I've changed my mind on Hezbollah. However, I think if you are going to add Hezbollah they should have a mutual defense treaty with Assad's regime and you should only add them if you also add the Al Nusra Front and the Kurdish state that has been created in Syria. www.timesofisrael.com/syrias-war-splits-nation-into-3-distinct-regions/ you can use this to help you out. Al Nusra Front and Free Syrian Army should be at war with each other as well as with Assad and the Kurdish rebels should only be at war with Assad. I would recommend splitting the current FSA forces in half, with most of the newly spawning units going to the Al Nusra Front to represent the stream of extremist fighters into Syria. Then I would recommend giving the Kurdish rebels their own units that are separate from the current FSA forces. Adding all of this could make the Syrian civil war much more interesting and realistic. EDIT: here is a map I made, it is very basic and simplified but you could implement this as the borders for the factions in the game Red is Assad controlled, Green could be split between Al Nusra Front and Free Syrian Army, and Blue could be Kurdish controlled. I'm going to keep working to make this map better and more detailed but for now, that's what I've got ;D

Thus, this current map might change slightly. (However, updates on this matter on maps I shall bring here as soon as I get them from my contacts)
