0.82F. Playing as Bhutan. Military difficulty very high, starting with units. Managed to defeat China+HK, Pakistan and North Korea. Now at a successful war against Iran. UN subsidy rate 100%. 80+ allies. Receiving huge tributes from China so I can max all research, military and social spenditure without any taxes. I still have debt from days of war against China.
It started with China declaring war on Taiwan and then on me. I was allied with India and prepared with many units purchased, so I managed to fight back. Little by little. It took many years. It is now year 2018. I had invested much into diplomacy so I now have reasonable tech level (although it's still lower than most of the world! I get all my military units from diplomacy purchases).
Since I didn't annext Pakistan, China+HK or North Korea, but colonized them instead, I now control probably the highest number of military bases in the world and 10 research centers. This allows me to research new technologies myself (especially those non-tradable ones) and when the time comes, I will be able to manufacture many units myself (with moneys of my colonies, ofcourse.
So all in all, I'm having a very easy time now, with no need to worry about my economy or military. The hardest battles were diplomatical. I had to convince countries to ally me little by little by making small treaties with key countries at first. Trading tech. Making allies with their allies, etc.
I'm just disappointing about military AI and strength of my enemies. I think China should be able to win against India+Taiwan+Bhutan(even though I helped India with technologies and used purchased advanced military units myself). Now it was too easy. They didn't have a chance... I'm not sure why that is.
Interesting fact. India, who helped me much in my wars, has
5700+ kills
159 deaths
I wonder why?
Another interesting fact:
After Belarus annexed Lithuania, Poland managed to annex Belarus. Poland is now the largest country in Europe.
Another interesting fact:
In the current war against Iran, they received UN military advisors. This is strange, because I have a better UN opinion and higher UN subsidy rate. Why would they support someone they have a lower opinion (disapproving) on when they are at war with someone they are "delighted" with" ?
