Owwwww great update Wonderful Fistalis thank you. Yes for those who have been skipping the beta/testing versions and are updating from 0.81 there is a huge amount changed/fixed and added. For those who have been using the beta/testing versions.. alot of it is old news. Kurdistan can't be a colony since its territory is part of 3 different regions by default. The engine won't allow it. As to syrian loyalty.. there may be a way although it caused issues when I had done it with libya. Ah, is there any way to make Kurdistan just suddenly declare its independence though? I've never seen that happen in game before. Yes although it can only declare independence once from one nation.. meaning It can only get part of its territory that way. I've got plans for that. I'll likely put in 3 events with Huge amount of randomness in time.. and whichever one goes off first wins. If done properly you'll never know which kurdistan will declare independence each game. One game the syrian portion my declare, another game the Iraqi portion may declare and another game the turkish portion may. There are a ton of events I want to do but Need the database solid before I worry too much about them. (Event 37 working would be nice as well)

just downloaded today the new update and loving it one issue I'm having is while playing as the uk no1 will trade with me? even countries like say France and Germany where I have the diplomatic bar 100% still wont agree to the simplest of trades and no1 will give me any kind of land air or sea treaties, even the USA an ally from the start, want me to pay massive amounts of money into trades before they accept? otherwise its all good fun

If you already have a one way treaty with someone you will need to just offer the side that doesn't have it.

Quite queer, as in the game's Cold War campaign none of the European colonies ever declared independence from their mother nations, nor were the so-called 'insurgencies' physically seen fighting on the map (such as Malaysia... enigmatic yes?)...

Downloaded .exe twice but both time got CRC failed message during instalation (CRC failed in Graphics\PEOPLE\pic.30033.png)...will try .rar instead

.rar worked but I'm experiencing weird line of sight bugs. I have no line of sight treaty with anyone yet I still see from time to time massive amounts of Romanian and Italian ships around the Arabian peninsula (in amounts similar to those reported as unit clones on BGForums). I just tested the .exe without issue. As to the merchant marine clone bug.. nothing I can do best off reporting it to balt.. all the stuff that causes that is in the hardcoding.

I'm aware that the problem is somewhere in the original code but I suggested you talk with Balth because obviously something in your mod is triggering this (since I tested clean beta and clean update 3 for a long time and never seen that issue) and it would be easier for them to track it with your help. But it's your call I'll try to test the cold war scenario to see if the bug will appear now that I have MW installed...

But it's your call I'll try to test the cold war scenario to see if the bug will appear now that I have MW installed... Given the specifics of the bug its far more likely that they didn't entirely squash it, but reduced the chances of it popping up so much that its now extremeley rare and you just happened to be running the modern world when the issue popped up. Now if you're not using a pre update 3 save and can reproduce it consistently in new games then we got something. Because in all my testing of 0.82 a, b, c, d, and e I never saw it pop up once.

No, this was a fresh start after Update 3 and using your 0.82e (rar ) from the link on the first post here...will try again few times. Would a savegame be of any use to you? Also, any comment about line of sight bug???

Speaking of which let me put emphasis on the imporant part of my quote. can reproduce it consistently in new games Save games are useless to me personally in this instance since there is nothing I can change/fix to resolve a rare hard coded bug. The "fix" is start a new game lol.

Well, started a new MW game...and around may 2013 clones appeared I'll start 2-3 more games and if it appears in all three, I'll try cold war scenario to see if it has become prone to clone unit bug as well
