K so one thing I noticed, FARC is no longer red sphere leaning, they are non aligned, probably should fix that. Secondly, Al Shaabab is blue sphere leaning, definitely should fix that and make them non aligned. Also, FSA should maybe be blue sphere leaning.

Meh i'm doing a cache to release right now. The changelog is going to be slim for 2 reasons. 1 I didn't get much done and 2 I lost the file (didn't save it?) that I had used to keep track of all the changes I've done for this update. I meant to crunch and have a lot of my list done by mid Febuary and release it. However due to fluctuating hours at work, sickness and my gaming habits I didn't get near as much done. So at the very least I figured id release what I have gotten done and more importantly fix the Known issue list. the MAJOR point of this update is to fix the merchant marine stealth issue. So its going to be a letter release and 0.83 will be released at a later time. That being said if you see something you requested changed in game but not in the changelog feel free to point it out and i'll add it to the changelog. Since my records/recollection of what i've done since the last release isn't very good.

You may notice after the last hotfix that I have given a few one hex foreign bases to the U.S. this is due to new events that BG put into update 3 and just recently was known to me. The result is I can/will redo some how some of the rebel nations are formed in the events. But only if there is a benefit to using the new events to do so.
New events are added to the wiki but among them is an event that allows handing over 1 specific hex, as well hand over all hexes in a battlezone. This makes alot of the methods Used in this mod obsolete.. however I see no reason to redo it ALL for no benefit. So while I may use it to reduce the amount of events needed in some instances (giving the U.S. bagram for example has 4-6 events currently, can be reduced to 1 event now) I'm not going to redo the entire thing based on the new events.
This does reopen some previous requests for review. Single hex nations would no longer require a significant amount of work to implement, although would still not likely add much to game play the amount of reduction in required modding to make them happen means they can be added easily enough that I may implement some of the larger small nations that could pass off as 1 hex. Leictenstein for example.

Good to hear there's higher posibility for smaller nations to be modded in.

Primarily catch up on community feed back IE posts you see here on the forums that haven't been implemented. As for my personal objectives I'll be redoing some of the staging events using the new events and looking into why there is so much troop movement during peacetime in the current version and seeing if I can reduce it a bit. Also taking a closer look at how the AI post update 3 deals with theatre settings and seeing if i need to add more or remove the few I have reimplemented. Finally if I find the patience I want to put more work into the map file. There are some nations that still need more industry buildings to start etc, as well as some more U.S. overseas bases I want to add. I would like to have 1 foreign base for each command (IE Afcom , centcom etc) However some bases like the one in Bahrain present a problem.. since bahrain has like 5 hexes of land It cant really afford to give up a hex for a U.S. base. So i'll be looking for a way to work around that issue.

Probably not, but there's no point in doing that. This hotfix mostly addresses the start of the game.
