No, but nor do they start with one in game. If they have one in your current play through its a result of AI diplomacy. Gotta remember I jacked up the volatility ratings from 0.82 to 0.83 that increases dislike between rival nations at higher levels but also increases how much friendly nations like each other, which results in more AI treaties at higher volatilities. Default should now be medium but I think i forgot to change it.

No, but nor do they start with one in game. If they have one in your current play through its a result of AI diplomacy. I checked and this happens in every game I started in 0.83...India declares war on Iran and annihilates it's MM's in strait of Hormuz and UAE ships his troops to nearest port in already conquered Pakistan and they are basically the only ground fighting force (and they really pack quite a punch) that kills Iran after Iran looses most of his units trying to reach ports in India. Gotta remember I jacked up the volatility ratings from 0.82 to 0.83 that increases dislike between rival nations at higher levels but also increases how much friendly nations like each other, which results in more AI treaties at higher volatilities. Default should now be medium but I think i forgot to change it. Are you saying that playing diplomatic difficulty on "hard" (or was it "easy"?, I keep forgeting which setting makes AI alliances scarse ) could compensate this?

OK, now that I played few games with different countries and different alignment I noticed some regularities that (to me) seem a bit off. Russia succumbs to west too quickly. (could be the laser weaponry) Pakistan succumbs to India too quickly. (not sure what is happening here) Iran succumbs to India too quickly. (Iran sends a lot of his troops to help Syria and by the time India attacks them you can imagine what happens to 300+ merchant marines trying to come back home through strait of Hormuz ;D ) Just to make clear, I even tested this with option "units destroyed when surrender" or whatever was it called and India and Poland (or Germany but I know it is combined NATO forces) are still steamrolling everybody in front of them. Not sure if there is anything you can do about it but I wonder if you reducing the number of older units in Russia's orbat caused a little imbalance (combined with laser weaponry)... The rest of the world events seem believable. Also, have you considered abandoning the "non-tradeable techs" design the devs implemented with SRCW? UPDATE 2: I can confirm that Germany has tons of LAV-5A (unit ID 808) laser units that are at least 3 times better than anything Russia has and that is the reason why they loose so easily... Are there any plans to maybe release a "letter update" to fix this laser thingy as it is really ruining the tension in the game? So, I managed to identify the reasons why 2 of 3 are happening ;D. Maybe Pakistan is simply just weak to stand against India and all its "mutual defence pact" signatories like UAE, Bahrein, Saudi Arabia...

Fistalis, I have a question about Transnistria. Does it really exist today and do they really still use a soviet flag? Thank you! Yes to both. Wikipedia or a quick google search would net far more information than I know on the subject, but basically the presence of Russian troops as peacekeepers has effectively given them de-facto independence. Matter of fact just today There is a sign of renewed tensions. www.presseurop.eu/en/content/news-brief/3899861-new-tension-transnistria-borderUnless of course by exist you mean is recognized by the world then the answer is no. But the reality on the ground is transistria is its own nation, with its own army, currency etc

I have a problem, when I download the .rar the cache and people folders are 0 byte documents. I can't use the self extracting rar Just downloaded them myself. All seems fine. Also its been a few months since release and many others have used both so the problem is likely on your side. Not much I can do about it since there is no telling what the issue on your side could be. If downloading it again doesn't help then I'm not sure what to say. Not sure why you couldn't use the self extracting rar either though so..

Fixed it. It seems it was a problem with my unarchiving program not working. I used a different one and it showed the correct files
